Haunted House
Escape Room
For this project I had to illustrate and create a board game, including any - Card, Counters needed to play the game.
The main concept for my game was to make sure it was inclusive as well as keeping the (horror) theme throughout . I made the aim for escaping the game to be to collect all the neccessary artifacts from the house (one from each room) in order to escape
Asfixia - Movie poster- Us
For This project I used the quote by Chuck Palahniuk - Asfixia, to illustrate a movie poster for the show Us. I used the main aspects including the masks, the knuckles to create the main components of the illustrations.
Ghost Culture Project
For this project I looked at book covers and internal illustrations for a mixture of Ghost Cultures. The three Ghost cultures I looked at were A Christmas Carol, The Headless Horseman and The Weeping Woman.
To encorporate all 3 i used the symbols from each combines to establish a final illustration (the suit from The Headless Horseman, the skull to symbolise the head being held from The headless Horseman but also the Candle from A Christms Carol, And the veilled woman in the background from The Weeping Woman.)
Childrens Book Project
For this project I created a childrens book. The theme for this is -”overcoming difficulty and accepting differences”.
I created a story based on a Hedghog who couldn’t participate like everyone else in “typical sports”. He tried his hardest to fit in and no matter how many he tried he could not find the one for him, until..he finally found that there are parts to sport for everyone in different ways.
Obsessive Collector
For this project I created a short Graphic Novel. With the main theme of “The Obsessive Collector”.
I illustrated a Graphic novel based on somone who is a collector of many teddys, but these teddys turned evil. And so did she.
9 Squares Project
Project 9 squares is a 70s themed illustration based on a view from an excerpt of the poem Moon Landing - 1973 W.H. Auden.
Within this project i looked at several perspectives and a range of mixed media.
